Pebbles App User Guide: Creator Donation Links and Fan Payments
This guide walks you through the process of generating donation links as a creator and making payments as a fan. Note: Ensure you are logged into the Pebbles app before proceeding.
Creator Scenario: Generating a Donation Link
Open the Pebbles App
Go to the Home tab.
On the Home page, click the Get Paid button.
Select the Donation Option
On the Get Paid page, locate the Get Paid from Groups section.
Choose the Receiving Donation option.
Fill in Payment Information
On the Get Paid from Groups page, you’ll see two donation options:
Fixed Amount: Choose cryptocurrency from dropdown list and enter a specific amount. Fans will pay this exact amount.
Surprise Me: Leave the ETH amount blank. Fans can decide how much to donation.
Add a Description for the donation link. This description will be displayed on the payment link.
Once all information is filled in, click the Get Paid from Groups button.
Share the Donation Link
A list of your Telegram groups will pop up. Select the group where you want to share the link.
If the desired group doesn’t appear, click Copy Link and paste it wherever you’d like (e.g., another chat or platform).
Track Your Revenue
Go to the Activity tab to view all transactions.
Question: Should transactions be categorized by donation link? (This is a feature suggestion worth considering for better tracking.)
Fan Scenario: Making a Payment
Click the Donation Link
Fans click the donation link shared by the creator.
If the link is based on a Fixed Amount, fans simply click the Pay button to complete the payment.
If the link is based on Surprise Me, fans enter their desired donation amount and then click the Pay button.
Payment Confirmation
After a successful payment, fans will see a Payment Success pop-up.
Notify the Creator (Optional)
Fans can choose to notify the creator by clicking Notify @Creator.
This sends a message to the creator about the payment.
